Journal of Shanghai Second Medical University (ISSN 1001-6686), a peer-reviewed biannually journal founded in 1987, is an English publication of medical sciences in China. It is dedicated to publishing original findings in laboratory and clinical medicine, preventive medicine, and pharmacology. The editorial board includes famous figures from home and abroad. The journal welcomes manuscripts from other countries as well as from China. Some articles published are sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National High-tech Research Program and other programs. Currently the journal is covered by some bibliographic publicaions (like CJCR) in China and is indexed by Chemical Abstract (CA). The journal is published according to international standard.
