International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases (Int J Cerebrovasc Dis ), a monthly journal, is one of the journals sponsored by the Chinese Medical Association. It was established in 1993. Int J Cerebrovasc Dis publishes reports of clinical and investigation of any aspect of cerebrovascular diseases, including neurology, neurosurgery, neuropathology, neuroepidemiology, neurochemistry, neuroimmunology, neuroradiology, neuroimaging, vascular surgery, rehabilitation, critical care medication, neuropsychology, and speech disorders. Its columns include Original Contributions, Short Communications, Case Reports, Controversies, Guidelines, and Progress Reviews, etc. The journal’s purpose is to disseminate information to neurologists, neurosurgeons and other health professionals interested in this field. In 2004, Int J Cerebrovasc Dis was awarded the Second Prize for Excellent Journals of CMA, and the Third Prize for Excellent Journals of Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China, respectively.
